Requirements and Submission Details for 2025 Scholarships

FOR ALL SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS

Please note:

Family members of any current Crimson and Cream Foundation Board of Directors and relatives of any member of Kappa Alpha Psi are not eligible for awards.

Application Submissions

All applications must be submitted using the on-line application form
In case you are unable to save your application before it is completely filled out, we strongly recommend you compile the following information before completing the on-line form:
1. Name and phone number of High School Counselor (for Crimson and Cream Foundation Scholarship only)
2. List of extracurricular activities, the year(s) you served, and any offices and honors received
3. List of community service activities, the year(s) you served, and any offices and honors received
4. List of colleges applied to (or plan to apply to), your acceptance status, and estimated annual cost for each (for Crimson and Cream Foundation Scholarship only)
Before submitting your completed application, please use the option to print a copy for your records.
Supporting documentation must be emailed to MNCrimsonAndCream@gmail.com. include your las name in the subject line. (Example -- " Subject: Your_last_name - 2025 Application Attachments")

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

High School Students - Scholarship Eligibility Requirements

High School Seniors entering a 2-year or 4-year college, university, or other post- secondary institution
Permanent resident of Minnesota
Minimum 2.5 GPA
If selected as a finalist, applicant must be available for an interview with the selection committee.

College Students - Scholarship Eligibility Requirements (Tommy Lawrence Scholarship)

Current college students entering junior or senior year
Permanent resident of Minnesota
Minimum cumulative unweighted grade point average of 3.0 on 4.0 scale
Demonstrated leadership skills
Active volunteer in community service activities
If selected as a finalist, applicant must be available for an interview with the selection committee.
